Dharmatic Entertainment revives ‘Dostana 2’

Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital wing of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is set to bring ‘Dostana 2’ back to life as a Prime Video original. The film will be directed by Advait Chandan, known for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Interestingly, the project had initially begun in 2019 with Kartik Aaryan, Lakshya, and Janhvi Kapoor, but it was called off midway after Kartik’s sudden exit following nearly 20 days of shooting. The fallout between Kartik and Johar made headlines at the time, though the two eventually patched things up last year when they joined forces for ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’.
