Cillian Murphy makes his official return as Tommy Shelby, this time, in the big screen adaptation of his hit television series ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’. The first trailer of the new film dropped online, giving fans a glimpse of all that went on, after the show came to a close in 2022. The new clip, sees Cillian returning to the streets of Birmingham as former gang leader Tommy Shelby. This time, however, he returns to the streets now run by his son, Duke Shelby, played by Barry Keoghan. ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ trailerThe feature-length film, which continues the narrative set in the ‘Peaky Blinders’ series, is set against the turmoil of World War II. Ada Shelby, portrayed by Sophie Rundle, warns Tommy, “Your gypsy son is running Peaky Blinders like it’s 1919 all over again.” Tim Roth steps in as a British fascist sympathiser who attempts to push Duke to commit an act of treason and side with Germany during the war, prompting the once-retired crime boss to return to the violent life he left behind.
