Students celebrated the entertainer, prompting fans to demand re-releases of his older hits. Meanwhile, his 2006 film ‘Happy’ is set for a 4K Dolby Atmos re-release.

Malayalis always had a soft corner for Allu Arjun and they call him “Mallu Arjun” with love. His early films always worked very well in Kerala and one of the biggest among them is ‘Lucky: The Racer’. The movie was called ‘Race Gurram’ in Telugu. It was directed by Surender Reddy.Currently the most talked-about video is from MES Kalladi College in Mannarkkad. Allu Arjun’s ‘Lucky’ was screened in the college the video on the same is going viral on social media for all the right reasons.

Students make the screening a celebration

In the viral video, students can be seen standing on their feet. They cheer every fight scene and whistle at every punch.Allu Arjun’s movies like ‘Gaja Pokkiri’ and ‘Lucky’ are now getting attention once again. People say they forgot how much fun these movies were. Dialogues from ‘Gaja Pokkiri’ are getting much love on social media in recent times, even though majority of them were inspired by Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’.

Fans ask for re-releases Allu Arjun films

As the videos spread, comments also started coming under them. Many fans say these old Allu Arjun movies should come back to theatres again. On Tweeted, “Waiting for this kind of full-on entertainer from #AlluArjun.” Another one Tweeted, “Name the best warning scene in a movie you ever watched.” Another fan commented, “@alluarjun‘s GOAT GURRAM enjoys a cult fanbase even after a decade of its release in Kerala.”

‘Happy’ gets ready for a big return

Right when this trend started, another update also came out. Allu Arjun’s movie ‘Happy’ is getting ready for a re-release in 4K Dolby Atmos. The date is not announced yet.‘Happy’ first came out in 2006. It was directed by A. Karunakaran and the movie had Allu Arjun, Genelia D’Souza and Manoj Bajpayee in important roles. The songs were super hits.Up next, Allu Arjun has ‘AA22’ directed by Atlee and ‘AA23’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in the pipeline.
