Actor Suresh Gopi’s son and actor Madhav Suresh has now reacted very strongly to the accident case involving Maniyanpilla Raju and two young men who were riding a bike. Madhav did not hold back his words at all as he said that the youths were not telling the truth about what happened that night. In his social media note Madhav also said that they were trying to act like victims when that was not the real story.Madhav wrote on his Instagram story, “Some of these people love using the victim card, what a blatant lie. He should be charged with a defamation case for lying and trying to get someone into undeserved trouble.”
What the youths said about the accident
As reported by Manorama News, the two youths had said that the actor’s car lost control and hit their bike. They said that the car came out suddenly and dragged them. They alleged that the actor did not stop the car even after hitting them and left the place.The youths told the media, “We saw the headlights of a car coming out from Trivandrum Club. It first honked and came near us, and then suddenly the car hit us and dragged us. Then it just went away. We were lying on the road for some time. After that, people came running.”
How the accident happened according to the youths version
Reports say that the accident took place around 11:30 pm on Thursday night. Maniyanpilla Raju’s car was slowly coming out of the Trivandrum Club gate. After crossing the median, the car moved to the opposite side of the road. At that time, the car and the bike collided.

Even though the actor knew that the accident had happened, the car did not stop. Because of this, the police took him into custody the next morning.The youths, Nidev and Sooraj, both 20 years old, are now in private hospitals with injuries. Nidev, a law student, has a fracture in his left leg. Sooraj, who was waiting for ITI admission, has a fracture in his hip bone. Both had to undergo surgery.
CCTV footage tells a different story
The CCTV footage now shows something else. The video shows that the car came out slowly from the club. The car stopped, kept the indicator on, and waited for vehicles to pass. Two bikes came at the same time. One bike stopped to let the car cross. But the bike that crashed is seen coming very fast and cutting right in front of the car.Because of this video, many people are now saying the youths may not have told the full truth.
Police action and more questions
Police have filed charges including dangerous driving, careless driving, not giving first aid, and leaving the spot without stopping. Some people are also saying the police did not act fast enough.Reportedly the police commissioner said that they went to the actor’s home at night but could not find the car. But the actor said he met the police and told them he was sick and his wife was alone. He was asked to come the next morning.His medical tests were done 12 hours after the accident.The car was later taken from behind the Tennis Club based on the actor’s statement.On the work front, Maniyanpilla Raju was last seen in Mohanlal’s ‘Thudarum’.
