Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ to arrive in theaters
According to the India Today report, ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, will be out in cinemas in April this year. A source told the publication that the movie is made for theaters and the team is currently wrapping the last schedule of the shoot. As per the report, the shooting of the spy flick is in progress as planned.The report further stated that the movie has been made to deliver a cinema-first experience, and hence, it will be out in theaters as planned. The clarification has come following the rumors of a direct-to-OTT release and massive buzz around the film.

The movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters in August last year. However, the makers then aimed to release it in December 2025; however, it was pushed further. The production house revealed that the team is working on the VFX of the film, and hence the delay. The statement from the makers read, “The VFX of Alpha needs more time to present the film in its visually best shape to audiences.”Talking about the movie at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah last year, Deadline quoted Alia Bhatt saying, “‘Alpha’ is the first female-led action film from the YRF universe, so that’s also a risk, because you’ve not historically seen that perform in the same way that the other male-led films have performed.”The movie will be the first female spy film of the Aditya Chopra-backed spy universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, ‘Alpha’ stars Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Bobby Deol.
