After an underwhelming initial performance, the film collected Rs 2 crore on the sixth day, accumulating a domestic total of Rs 24.25 crore. Its global earnings have crossed Rs 36 crore.

Rani Mukerji‘s ‘Mardaani’ franchise always dealt with intense yet sensitive topics. And the recent release, ‘Mardaani 3’, has girl child trafficking as the subject of the movie. However, the film opened to mixed reviews from the audience as well as critics. The same was reflected at the box office, as the movie failed to pull the audience to the theaters. The movie collected just Rs 4 crore on its opening day. On the first Sunday, the film managed to score well, as it collected Rs 7 crore. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, ‘Mardaani 3’ has minted Rs 2 crore on its Day 6 (first Wednesday). With that, the total collection of the hard-hitting drama now stands at Rs 24.25 crore.Meanwhile, as per the same report, the global collection of the film is Rs 36.35 crore.

While ‘Mardaani’ and ‘Mardaani 2’, which were released in 2014 and 2019, respectively, were box office hits, the third installment is struggling to score good numbers.In the film, which is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, we see Rani Mukerji reprising her role as the tough cop, Shivani Shivaji Roy. If reports are to be believed, the actress has charged Rs 7 crore to play her character in the movie. Mallika Prasad plays the role of the main antagonist, Amma. The movie also features Janki Bodiwala in a pivotal role.Backed by Aditya Chopra and directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the film was released in theaters on January 30, 2026.
