Abhay Verma and Rasha Thadani mark their first collaboration in the upcoming film Laikey Laikaa. The project was confirmed on June 11, 2025, through a playful announcement video, with the makers locking Summer 2026 as the film’s release window. Now, the team has unveiled a series of striking posters featuring the lead pair.

Intense poster debut

Both actors make a powerful impression in the debut posters of Laikey Laikaa. The caption accompanying the visuals reads: “Love. Pain. Trust.” The images capture raw intensity—Rasha and Abhay are seen sharing a tense kiss against broken alley walls, gripping each other with blood on their faces, and gazing deeply into one another’s eyes, caught between desire and fear. Their bond appears overwhelming, portraying love as both a refuge and a source of anguish.

Gritty visual style

The posters adopt a dark, shadow-laden aesthetic with crumbling walls, flaking paint and traces of rust setting the mood. Rasha looks gentle and ethereal, draped in a dupatta, while Abhay appears restless and edgy, his expressions reflecting fury, restraint and emotional turmoil. The visuals hint at an intense romance layered with thriller elements, slated for a theatrical release in Summer 2026.

Action prep and plot tease

Meanwhile, Rasha Thadani reportedly trained in martial arts for her action-packed role. Described as a fast-paced entertainer, the film promises high-octane thrills. While the plot details remain under wraps, Laikey Laikaa is said to revolve around a dark love story where romance collides with conflict. The film is directed by Saurabh Gupta, who previously wrote dialogues for Animal, and is produced by Bhavna Talwar and Raghav Gupta.
