Tom Hiddleston shares the first Indian film he watched was of Shah Rukh Khan
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter India, Tom Hiddleston was asked about the possibility of working in an Indian movie. To which he said, “I’ve loved Indian cinema for a long time.” The actor further shared, “I remember it was quite a long time ago now. I remember going to see ‘Devdas’. I mean, that’s quite an old film. I remember going to see that at my local cinema, and it was such an extraordinary.” The Hollywood star went on to say, “I would say I have never seen anything like that. So, yeah, I remember that very much.”This is not the first time Tom Hiddleston has expressed his admiration towards Shah Rukh Khan. In 2023, the Marvel movie star SRK would make a great variant of his MCU character Loki. In 2021, when the actor was asked about Bollywood, he replied, “Am I allowed to say Shah Rukh Khan again? Shah Rukh Khan again.”During the same interview, the actor was then asked about his dream collaboration. He paused for a moment to think about the name, and when SS Rajamouli’s name was mentioned, the actor’s face lit up. He called the Indian filmmaker “excellent.”
