Antony Varghese and Arjun Ashokan are teaming up for an upcoming Malayalam film titled ‘Disco’. The film is scripted by Chemban Vinod, and the makers have now launched the first look poster.
‘Disco’ first look
‘Disco’ marks the sophomore directorial of Ullas Chemban, who debuted with the 2024 film ‘Anchakkallakokkan’. The first look poster features a chaotic brawl, with fictional characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, the Joker, Jason Voorhees, Che Guevara, Batman, and figures in animal masks. The ensemble cast also includes Lukman Avaran, Dev Mohan, Chemban Vinod, Sreenath Bhasi, and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. The first look does not unveil the plot or the genre of the film. All about ‘Disco’
The director reunites with his ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ collaborators, cinematographer Armo, editor Rohit VS Variyath, and music director Manikandan Ayyappa for the upcoming film. Ashwath Swaminathan is the colorist. The production design for the film is handled by Gokul Das. Action choreography is done by Kalai Kingson. Ronex Xavier handles the makeup, and costumes are designed by Melwy J. R Kannadasan is the sound designer.Meanwhile, Antony Varghese is currently working on ‘Kattalan’, a film mounted on a massive budget, which revolves around ivory smuggling.On the other hand, Arjun Ashokan will be next seen in ‘Chatha Pacha’. The film is set against the raw, colourful wrestling culture of Fort Kochi. The film is expected to be a packed entertainer with action, humor, and character-driven storytelling. ‘Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’ is gearing up for a theatrical release on January 22. The makers have recently released the promo song, which attracted significant attention.
